恐懼是從何而來?

伯3:25  因我所恐懼的臨到我身，我所懼怕的迎我而來。
What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.

1.專心於你的異象可以勝過恐懼

• 尼6:3 於是我差遣人去見他們，說：「我現在辦理大工，不能下去。焉能停工下去見你們呢？」so I sent messengers to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” 
• 來10:35-36 所以，你們不可丟棄勇敢的心；存這樣的心必得大賞賜。你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了上帝的旨意，就可以得著所應許的。 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised
• 林前2:3 我在你們那裏，又軟弱，又懼怕又甚戰兢。I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling.
• 羅8:35 誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是逼迫嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？…因為我深信無論是死，是生，是天使，是掌權的，是有能的，是現在的事，是將來的事，是高處的，是低處的，是別的受造之物，都不能叫我們與上帝的愛隔絕；這愛是在我們的主基督耶穌裏的。
• 來2:14-15 兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
• 羅馬諺語:
• 一個膽小的人,一生死了數千次,
• 但勇敢的人一生只死一次.

2.調整你的心思可以勝過恐懼

• 尼6:8 我就差遣人去見他，說：「你所說的這事，一概沒有，是你心裏捏造的。」 I sent him this reply: “Nothing like what you are saying is happening; you are just making it up out of your head.”
• 提後1:7 因為上帝賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
• FEAR
•  False Evidence Appearing Real
• 『錯誤的證據變成事實』。
• 箴29:25懼怕人的，陷入網羅； 惟有倚靠耶和華的，必得安穩。
• Fear of man will prove to be a snare,    but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

• 約壹4:18愛裏沒有懼怕；愛既完全，就把懼怕除去。因為懼怕裏含著刑罰，懼怕的人在愛裏未得完全。There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

3.釐清事實的真相可以勝過恐懼

• 尼6:12 我看明上帝沒有差遣他，是他自己說這話攻擊我，是多比雅和參巴拉賄買了他。賄買他的緣故，是要叫我懼怕，依從他犯罪，他們好傳揚惡言毀謗我。I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. 
• 彼前5:8 務要謹守，警醒。 因為你們的仇敵魔鬼，如同吼叫的獅子，遍地遊行，尋找可吞吃的人。Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
• 詩篇27:1 「〔大衛的詩〕耶和華是我的亮光、是我的拯救．我還怕誰呢．耶和華是我性命的保障．我還懼誰呢。」The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

1.耶和華神是聽禱告的神

• 尼4:4 我 們的上帝啊，求你垂聽，因為我們被藐視。Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. 
• 尼4:2  對他弟兄和撒馬利亞的軍兵說：「這些軟弱的猶大人做甚麼呢？要保護自己嗎？要獻祭嗎？要一日成功嗎？要從土堆裏拿出火燒的石頭再立牆嗎？」and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?
• 尼4:3  亞捫人多比雅站在旁邊，說：「他們所修造的石牆，就是狐狸上去也必跐倒。」Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”
• 尼4:9  然而，我們禱告我們的上帝，又因他們的緣故，就派人看守，晝夜防備。But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
• 腓1:28  凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沉淪，你們得救都是出於上帝。without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God 

2.耶和華神是大而可畏的神

• 尼4:14  我察看了，就起來對貴冑、官長，和其餘的人說：「不要怕他們！當記念主是大而可畏的。你們要為弟兄、兒女、妻子、家產爭戰。」After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
• 尼4:10  猶大人說：「灰土尚多，扛抬的人力氣已經衰敗，所以我們不能建造城牆。」Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”
• 尼4:12  那靠近敵人居住的猶大人十次從各處來見我們，說：「你們必要回到我們那裏。」Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
• 腓4:8  弟兄們，我還有未盡的話：凡是真實的、可敬的、公義的、清潔的、可愛的、有美名的，若有甚麼德行，若有甚麼稱讚，這些事你們都要思念。 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
• 羅15:13  但願使人有盼望的上帝，因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望！May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

3.耶和華神是為我們爭戰的神

• 尼4:19-20  我對貴冑、官長，和其餘的人說：「這工程浩大，我們在城牆上相離甚遠；你們聽見角聲在哪裏，就聚集到我們那裏去。我們的上帝必為我們爭戰。Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!”
• 出14:13-14  摩西對百姓說：「不要懼怕，只管站住！看耶和華今天向你們所要施行的救恩。因為，你們今天所看見的埃及人必永遠不再看見了。耶和華必為你們爭戰；你們只管靜默，不要作聲。」 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
• 代下20:15  他說：「猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民，和約沙法王，你們請聽。耶和華對你們如此說：『不要因這大軍恐懼驚惶；因為勝敗不在乎你們，乃在乎上帝. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
• 詩46:10  你們要休息(停住)，要知道我是上帝！ 我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;    I will be exalted among the nations,    I will be exalted in the earth.”
