1.救贖的目的—事奉祂

出9:1 耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你進去見法老，對他說：『耶和華－希伯來人的上帝這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, so that they may worship me.”
申10:12 以色列啊，現在耶和華－你上帝向你所要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華你的上帝，遵行他的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉他. And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

2.事奉的管道—器皿

徒9:15 主對亞拿尼亞說：「你只管去！他是我所揀選的器皿，要在外邦人和君王，並以色列人面前宣揚我的名。But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.
賽64:8 耶和華啊，現在你仍是我們的父！我們是泥，你是窯匠；我們都是你手的工作。Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
弗2:10 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裏造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是上帝所預備叫我們行的。For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
羅9:20-21 你這個人哪，你是誰，竟敢向上帝強嘴呢？受造之物豈能對造他的說：「你為甚麼這樣造我呢？」窯匠難道沒有權柄從一團泥裏拿一塊做成貴重的器皿，又拿一塊做成卑賤的器皿嗎？But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?
詩139:14我要稱謝你，因我受造，奇妙可畏；你的作為奇妙，這是我心深知道的。praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
王下4:5-6 於是，婦人離開以利沙去了，關上門，自己和兒子在裏面；兒子把器皿拿來，她就倒油。器皿都滿了，她對兒子說：「再給我拿器皿來。」兒子說：「再沒有器皿了。」油就止住了。She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

3.器皿的種類—貴重的?卑賤的?

提後2:20-21 在大戶人家，不但有金器銀器，也有木器瓦器；有作為貴重的，有作為卑賤的。人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用，預備行各樣的善事。In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

4.器皿的價值—在於裡面的寶貝

羅9:23-24 又要將他豐盛的榮耀彰顯在那蒙憐憫、早預備得榮耀的器皿上。這器皿就是我們被上帝所召的，不但是從猶太人中，也是從外邦人中。這有甚麼不可呢？What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?
林後4:7 我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，要顯明這莫大的能力是出於上帝，不是出於我們。But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

恐懼是從何而來?

1.專心於你的異象可以勝過恐懼

尼6:3 於是我差遣人去見他們，說：「我現在辦理大工，不能下去。焉能停工下去見你們呢？」so I sent messengers to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?”
來10:35-36 所以，你們不可丟棄勇敢的心；存這樣的心必得大賞賜。你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了上帝的旨意，就可以得著所應許的。 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised

來2:14-15 兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉著死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

2.調整你的心思可以勝過恐懼

尼6:8 我就差遣人去見他，說：「你所說的這事，一概沒有，是你心裏捏造的。」 I sent him this reply: “Nothing like what you are saying is happening; you are just making it up out of your head.”
提後1:7 因為上帝賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
FEAR

3.釐清事實的真相可以勝過恐懼

尼6:12 我看明上帝沒有差遣他，是他自己說這話攻擊我，是多比雅和參巴拉賄買了他。賄買他的緣故，是要叫我懼怕，依從他犯罪，他們好傳揚惡言毀謗我。I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
彼前5:8 務要謹守，警醒。因為你們的仇敵魔鬼，如同吼叫的獅子，遍地遊行，尋找可吞吃的人。Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1.耶和華神是聽禱告的神

尼4:4 我們的上帝啊，求你垂聽，因為我們被藐視。Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity.
尼4:2 對他弟兄和撒馬利亞的軍兵說：「這些軟弱的猶大人做甚麼呢？要保護自己嗎？要獻祭嗎？要一日成功嗎？要從土堆裏拿出火燒的石頭再立牆嗎？」and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?
尼4:3 亞捫人多比雅站在旁邊，說：「他們所修造的石牆，就是狐狸上去也必跐倒。」Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”

2.耶和華神是大而可畏的神

尼4:14 我察看了，就起來對貴冑、官長，和其餘的人說：「不要怕他們！當記念主是大而可畏的。你們要為弟兄、兒女、妻子、家產爭戰。」After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
尼4:10 猶大人說：「灰土尚多，扛抬的人力氣已經衰敗，所以我們不能建造城牆。」Meanwhile, the people in Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is giving out, and there is so much rubble that we cannot rebuild the wall.”
尼4:12 那靠近敵人居住的猶大人十次從各處來見我們，說：「你們必要回到我們那裏。」Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
腓4:8 弟兄們，我還有未盡的話：凡是真實的、可敬的、公義的、清潔的、可愛的、有美名的，若有甚麼德行，若有甚麼稱讚，這些事你們都要思念。 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
羅15:13 但願使人有盼望的上帝，因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望！May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

3.耶和華神是為我們爭戰的神

尼4:19-20 我對貴冑、官長，和其餘的人說：「這工程浩大，我們在城牆上相離甚遠；你們聽見角聲在哪裏，就聚集到我們那裏去。我們的上帝必為我們爭戰。Then I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall. 20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!”
出14:13-14 摩西對百姓說：「不要懼怕，只管站住！看耶和華今天向你們所要施行的救恩。因為，你們今天所看見的埃及人必永遠不再看見了。耶和華必為你們爭戰；你們只管靜默，不要作聲。」 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
代下20:15 他說：「猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民，和約沙法王，你們請聽。耶和華對你們如此說：『不要因這大軍恐懼驚惶；因為勝敗不在乎你們，乃在乎上帝. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
詩46:10 你們要休息(停住)，要知道我是上帝！我必在外邦中被尊崇，在遍地上也被尊崇。He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

1.人生苦楚的源頭:

羅7:18-24 我也知道，在我裏頭，就是我肉體之中，沒有良善。因為，立志為善由得我，只是行出來由不得我。故此，我所願意的善，我反不做；我所不願意的惡，我倒去做。若我去做所不願意做的，就不是我做的，乃是住在我裏頭的罪做的。我覺得有個律，就是我願意為善的時候，便有惡與我同在。因為按著我裏面的意思（原文是人），我是喜歡　神的律；但我覺得肢體中另有個律和我心中的律交戰，把我擄去，叫我附從那肢體中犯罪的律。我真是苦啊！誰能救我脫離這取死的身體呢？
羅8:5-8 因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。體貼肉體的，就是死；體貼聖靈的，乃是生命、平安,原來體貼肉體的，就是與　神為仇；因為不服　神的律法，也是不能服，而且屬肉體的人不能得　神的喜歡。
加5:17,19-21 因為情慾和聖靈相爭，聖靈和情慾相爭，這兩個是彼此相敵，使你們不能做所願意做的。…情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、嫉妒（有古卷加：凶殺二字）、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受　神的國。
約6:63 叫人活著的乃是靈，肉體是無益的。我對你們所說的話就是靈，就是生命。

2.我們如何活出神兒女的榮耀?

A.脫去舊人:

羅8:21 但受造之物仍然指望脫離敗壞的轄制,得享（享：原文是入）神兒女自由的榮耀
羅8:12-14 弟兄們，這樣看來，我們並不是欠肉體的債去順從肉體活著。你們若順從肉體活著，必要死；若靠著聖靈治死身體的惡行，必要活著。因為凡被　神的靈引導的，都是　神的兒子.

擁抱真理:

約8:32 你們必曉得真理，真理必叫你們得以自由。」

依靠聖靈

林後3:17 主就是那靈；主的靈在哪裏，那裏就得以自由

1.困境中的出路:

王下3:11約沙法說：「這裏不是有耶和華的先知嗎？我們可以託他求問耶和華。」以色列王的一個臣子回答說：「這裏有沙法的兒子以利沙，就是從前服事以利亞的（原文是倒水在以利亞手上的）。」 But Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no prophet of the Lord here, through whom we may inquire of the Lord?” An officer of the king of Israel answered, “Elisha son of Shaphat is here. He used to pour water on the hands of Elijah.

林前10:13你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

2.困境中的讚美

王下3:15現在你們給我找一個彈琴的來。」彈琴的時候，耶和華的靈（原文是手）就降在以利沙身上。 But now bring me a harpist.” While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha.”

哈3:17-19雖然無花果樹不發旺，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹也不效力，田地不出糧食，圈中絕了羊，棚內也沒有牛；然而，我要因耶和華歡欣，因救我的　神喜樂。主耶和華是我的力量；他使我的腳快如母鹿的蹄，又使我穩行在高處。
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

詩37:3-5你當倚靠耶和華而行善，住在地上，以他的信實為糧；又要以耶和華為樂，他就將你心裏所求的賜給你。當將你的事交託耶和華，並倚靠他，他就必成全。 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.

3.困境中的順服

王下3:16-17他便說：「耶和華如此說：『你們要在這谷中滿處挖溝；因為耶和華如此說：你們雖不見風，不見雨，這谷必滿了水，使你們和牲畜有水喝。』 and he said, “This is what the Lord says: I will fill this valley with pools of water. 17 For this is what the Lord says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink.

王下3:18在耶和華眼中這還算為小事，他也必將摩押人交在你們手中。 This is an easy thing in the eyes of the Lord; he will also deliver Moab into your hands.

加6:9我們行善，不可喪志；若不灰心，到了時候就要收成。 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

林後6:2 因為他說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我搭救了你。」看哪，現在正是悅納的時候！現在正是拯救的日子.
