Blessed to be a Blessing
創 世 記 12:2-3 Genesis 12:2-3我 必 叫 你 成 為 大 國 。 我 必 賜 福 給 你 ， 叫 你 的 名 為 大 ； 你 也 要 叫 別 人 得 福 。為 你 祝 福 的 ， 我 必 賜 福 與 他 ； 那 咒 詛 你 的 ， 我 必 咒 詛 他 。 地 上 的 萬 族 都 要 因 你 得 福 。
And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Sowing and Reaping
路 加 福 音 6:37-38 Luke 6:37-38你 們 不 要 論 斷 人 ， 就 不 被 論 斷 ； 你 們 不 要 定 人 的 罪 ， 就 不 被 定 罪 ； 你 們 要 饒 恕 人 ， 就 必 蒙 饒 恕 （ 饒 恕 ： 原 文 作 釋 放 ） ；你 們 要 給 人 ， 就 必 有 給 你 們 的 ， 並 且 用 十 足 的 升 斗 ， 連 搖 帶 按 ， 上 尖 下 流 的 倒 在 你 們 懷 裡 ； 因 為 你 們 用 甚 麼 量 器 量 給 人 ， 也 必 用 甚 麼 量 器 量 給 你 們 。
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
Giving is Our Nature
申 命 記 15:7-11 Deuteronomy 15:7-11
在 耶 和 華 ─ 你 神 所 賜 你 的 地 上 ， 無 論 那 一 座 城 裡 ， 你 弟 兄 中 若 有 一 個 窮 人 ， 你 不 可 忍 著 心 、 揝 著 手 不 幫 補 你 窮 乏 的 弟 兄 。總 要 向 他 鬆 開 手 ， 照 他 所 缺 乏 的 借 給 他 ， 補 他 的 不 足 。你 要 謹 慎 ， 不 可 心 裡 起 惡 念 ， 說 ： 第 七 年 的 豁 免 年 快 到 了 ， 你 便 惡 眼 看 你 窮 乏 的 弟 兄 ， 甚 麼 都 不 給 他 ， 以 致 他 因 你 求 告 耶 和 華 ， 罪 便 歸 於 你 了 。你 總 要 給 他 ， 給 他 的 時 候 心 裡 不 可 愁 煩 ； 因 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 必 在 你 這 一 切 所 行 的 ， 並 你 手 裡 所 辦 的 事 上 ， 賜 福 與 你 。原 來 那 地 上 的 窮 人 永 不 斷 絕 ； 所 以 我 吩 咐 你 說 ： 總 要 向 你 地 上 困 苦 窮 乏 的 弟 兄 鬆 開 手 。
“If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks. Beware that there is no base thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of remission, is near,’ and your eye is hostile toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he may cry to the Lord against you, and it will be a sin in you. You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings. For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’
加 拉 太 書 3:24-25 Galatians 3:24-25
這 樣 ， 律 法 是 我 們 訓 蒙 的 師 傅 ， 引 我 們 到 基 督 那 裡 ， 使 我 們 因 信 稱 義 。
但 這 因 信 得 救 的 理 既 然 來 到 ， 我 們 從 此 就 不 在 師 傅 的 手 下 了 。
Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
The Foundation of Gratitude
申命記15:15 Deuteronomy 15:15
要 記 念 你 在 埃 及 地 作 過 奴 僕 ， 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 神 將 你 救 贖 ； 因 此 ， 我 今 日 吩 咐 你 這 件 事 。
You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.
The Cheerful Heart
歌 林 多 後 書 9:7 2 Corinthians 9:7各 人 要 隨 本 心 所 酌 定 的 ， 不 要 作 難 ， 不 要 勉 強 ， 因 為 捐 得 樂 意 的 人 是 神 所 喜 愛 的 。
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
