I.為何生命的格局被限制?
1.他的父親耶西不看好他可以做王 (He had no king potential)
- 撒上16:7耶和華卻對撒母耳說、不要看他的外貌和他身材高大、我不揀選他、因為耶和華不像人看人、人是看外貌、耶和華是看內心。 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

- Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
- 林前6:20因為你們是重價買來的．所以要在你們的身子上榮耀神。you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
2.他的兄弟不認為他可以做戰士 (He had no warrior potential)
- 撒上17:28大衛的長兄以利押聽見大衛與他們所說的話，就向他發怒，說：「你下來做甚麼呢？在曠野的那幾隻羊，你交託了誰呢？我知道你的驕傲和你心裏的惡意，你下來特為要看爭戰！」 When Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, “Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.”
3.掃羅不看好他是一個得勝者 (He had no champion potential)
- 撒上17:33羅對大衛說：「你不能去與那非利士人戰鬥；因為你年紀太輕，他自幼就作戰士。」Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.”
- 詩20:7有人靠車、有人靠馬、但我們要提到耶和華我們 神的名。 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
- 詩33:16-17/20君王不能因兵多得勝．勇士不能因力大得救。靠馬得救是枉然的．馬也不能因力大救人…..我們的心向來等候耶和華．他是我們的幫助、我們的盾牌。No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
4.歌利亞心裡想大衛根本不是對手 (He had no opponent potential)
- 羅8:31既是這樣、還有甚麼說的呢．神若幫助我們、誰能敵擋我們呢。What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
II.如何突破生命的格局?
- 1.沒有一件事或一個人可以限制我們,除非我們容許. Limitations don’t limit us unless we let them.
- 亞4:6他對我說、這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的．萬軍之耶和華說、不是倚靠勢力、不是倚靠才能、乃是倚靠我的靈、方能成事。So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
- 2.不要因為人的緣故,去效法別人. Don’t try to be someone else when others impose limitation on you.
- 揮動胳臂---相信自己的經驗與能力 甩出機弦---相信上帝的能力 戰勝敵人---信心的果效.
- 3.當你突破侷限,所以你能幫助別人 When you breakthrough your limitation, you can help the others.
